A day to remember

Well, I don't think I can add anything to what's already been said and reported today. It has been special and even a refusenik can't fail to be slightly impressed by what's unfolded today. Proud to be British? Yes, I suppose I am. We can certainly put on a good do, even if we've sold everything else. In fact the Royal Family is probably all we have left and for this reason, it should be preserved. My son completely failed to see the significance of today preferring to watch all three Shrek movies. It's all been quite surreal really and difficult to imagine that life returns to normal tomorrow for so many people. My wife is back to work for 8am and I'll be back to working on my model railway... For most of us, life goes on as normal - the struggle to pay bills and the dread of the Monday morning return to work. For one individual, life will never be the same again, ever.
