This was the scene this morning a couple of doors down from my in-laws at Sutton Bridge. A bungalow fire had claimed a life and left another person injured. How shocking that something like this could happen and with a week to go until Christmas. There are few details currently but I understand that the occupants were a mother and disabled daughter. It is unknown which of them survived.
This is a terrible tragedy for all involved and my sympathies and condolences go to the family, friends and relatives. For them, Christmas will be very different...
